One of Jakartas's Biggest Problem : The Annual Flood

Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia. Jakarta has the biggest number of human population. According to a survey, in Indonesia Jakarta is in the first place and in the world Jakarta is in the second place. Total population in Jakarta 9.992.842 people. Jakarta is a metropolitan city which has same level with province, headed by a governor. Therefore Jakarta has the biggest population in Indonesia, then there must be a lot of place for them to live. People could see in Jakarta almost no vacant land. Because of that Jakarta's land lacks of water absorption. One of Jakarta's problem is the annual flood, one of the causes is Jakarta's land lacks of water absorption.

One of Jakarta's biggest problem is annual flood.  Every year,  Jakarta always had floods that would being happen in rainy season. There are somen reasons that cause annual flood among others land of Jakarta lacks of water absorption, people littering, land subsidence, and lost of mangrove forests, and high waves in the waters of Jakarta and the high tide that occurred simultaneously with the rain making increasingly besieged in Jakarta's water. The annual floods in Jakarta will cause another problems. The problems are diseases, traffic jam, inhibited daily activities, some people would lost their homes and family members, and they would suffer loss. There are so many problems that would be happen if this disaster is not immediately addressed by all of people.

There are some solutions that might help to resolve the annual floods in Jakarta. First, the government should make regulations for not littering. These regulations must be run in earnest even the leaders must do these regulations. Second, the government need to clean up the rivers. Considering that rivers in Jakarta are so dirty, full of trash that make not going flow of water in rivers. When the rainy season is come, water in the river would overflow into the streets and causes floods. Third, reforestation must carried out in Jakarta's center area. This solution is not only for the government but also for the citizen, for example the government plants trees in city parks, sidewalks and other public places area and for the citizen, they can plant the trees in their yards.

Jakarta's problem should be taken care of all people in Jakarta including the government and citizen. This problem is not only the responsibility of the government but all of people should take a part to resolve the problem. All of us should have an awareness to keep our environment clean.

A Good Future Doctor

I have a friend named Angela. I think she would be a good doctor. She likes to help each other, good in science and mathematics, also she has desire to develop the level of health in Papua.

First of all, Angela likes to help each other especially people who live in isolated area. If in her school holiday she always joins social charity in her hometown which is held by Church. She didn't know many things about medical so she just helped her mother to check blood type of the children. Because of that habit, she interested in taking medical major at university.

The second is, when she was in senior high school she had good scores especially in science. She always studied hard to understand the material. Moreover she thinks that it is better to understand the material first rather than to get good score.

Last but not least, she has a dream to improve the level of health in Papua because Papua is still on the lowest level of health. After she graduates from university she wants to dedicate herself for society in Papua.
I hope she will reach her dream in the future be a successful doctor.
